The Octopus is the all-round strapless board!
The compact shape of the Octopus makes it ideal for jump strapless riding, where it will excel. It’s very stable in the air, and underfoot it stays flat against the wind. The Octopus also performs well in waves, from 50cm to 2m++. Above that, you’ll need a good level of skill to manage speed, but nothing is impossible. On the water, the Concave on the front third and the channels on the rear of the board offer great comfort on choppy water and maximum grip for precision on radical turns in waves or for strapless tricks. But the Octopus is still very playful!
Thanks to its different fin configurations, you can adapt the Octopus’s behavior to the sailing sensations you want to achieve. For those who love impeccable trajectories, the Tris-fins configuration (three fins) ensures excellent handling in curves. Quad mounting (four fins) allows you to “slash” (skid) the board more easily in turns, and also offers better upwind performance. The Tri/Quad option lets you mix and match the two to suit all conditions.
