Description
The Manta is the Wingfoil board designed for foiling in waves, whether it’s for long Freefly sessions in the swell or for barreling waves with hollow sections. It has an optimized length/width ratio to provide both excellent glide during takeoff and optimal maneuverability for performing tricks in the waves.
The shaping work done on this board allows for great stability during no-flight phases, while also providing the ability to carve with a lot of angle without being hindered by an oversized board. The Manta features a refined hull, with a double concave in the front third, offering excellent takeoff and faster lift-off. The hull doesn’t stick to the water, and the pin tail at the rear helps with takeoff by providing good speed control. The bevels are designed to make turning easier and allow for carving with more angle, whether in the swell or in the waves. The concave deck lowers the center of gravity, and the volume is evenly distributed, with extra volume at the front for good longitudinal stability. This allows you to position your knees against the raised rail for better stability. As a result, the Manta offers great stability during the kneeling takeoff phase and also facilitates the transition to planing.

Construction:
Our Wingfoil boards are offered with two different constructions:
- Partial PVC Sandwich: EPS core 20kg/m3, PVC sandwich reinforcement on the deck and rails. PVC reinforcement under the plate with a rigid connection (foam 180kg/m3) between the deck and the hull, and carbon fiber laminate.
- Full PVC Sandwich: EPS core 15kg/m3, PVC sandwich reinforcement on the deck, rails, and hull. PVC reinforcement under the plate with a rigid connection (foam 180kg/m3) between the deck and the hull.
