Brand history and philosophy
CREATION
The Noremana story began in 2018, created by Willy Marion the brand’s creator and shaper after 6 years of amateur manufacturing experience.
ORIGIN
Noremana was born of the desire to offer customization of its boards to best suit each rider’s riding style and the conditions encountered.
DEVELOPMENT
Originally created to manufacture kitesurfing and surfing boards, we have rapidly moved on to kite foiling and then wingfoil boards in 2019.

Start
With a particular attraction to craftsmanship and product development, Willy began building his kitesurf boards (Twin-tip) in 2012. As his kitesurfing evolved, so did his projects for surfkite and surfboards.
Experience
Noremana was born in Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue in the Cotentin region after 6 years of experimenting with different processes on twin-tips / surfkites. This self-taught technical knowledge was complemented by an engineering degree and 3 years’ experience in a design office during this period.
Custom boards
From the outset, our aim has been to offer the market made-to-measure kitesurf boards, made from bio-sourced materials such as flax fibre and cork. There aren’t many shapers specializing in kitesurf boards in 2018, and we started out with Surfkites, Kitefoil boards and Surf boards. Today, the range has kept pace with the evolution of kiteboarding, but customization remains the core business and it’s important for us to continue offering it.
Board evolution
Since then, the evolution of windsurfing has led to the addition of Wingfoil, Surfoil and Supfoil Downwind boards, with materials such as carbon fiber used for their technical characteristics and rigidity. The range has also been built up with predefined, customizable models in addition to 100% made-to-measure.
OUR COMMITMENTS
Respect for the environment
We always make it a point of honor to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Although we mix materials according to practice, bio-sourced epoxy resins are used in all our projects.
Our workshop practices are designed to reduce waste as much as possible and recycle what can be recycled. It’s a set of best practices that enable us to reduce our impact today, and we’re constantly on the lookout for new solutions and optimizations to develop new constructions along these lines.
Durability
Noremana’s philosophy is to offer boards that are adapted to the rider and that will accompany him as he progresses. We also try to work regularly on new designs to keep up with the evolution of practices and equipment such as foils.
Our aim is not to make the highest-performance boards possible at the expense of durability, but to strike the right balance between performance and a board that will last a few years.
OUR VISION OF CUSTOMIZATION
Predefined Models
On one hand, we offer predefined models, all the models you will find in the shop. These models have been developed and tested to meet specific requirements for each practice. The advantage is having well-known models, which allow for feedback from users to help guide others in their choice.
Thus, by selecting the model that suits their practice, the user will always find the model that best fits their needs.
These models should be seen as reference shapes that can be adjusted.
100% Custom Board
The second approach is 100% custom boards, where the user typically has a very clear idea of the desired characteristics. We will then design the board together to meet those needs and manufacture it with the construction and colors of their choice.
In the case of 100% customization, absolutely everything can be personalized and tailored to your request.
