La Tuna L est la planche de Downwind et Wingfoil light wind de la gamme dessinée pour offrir le maximum de glisse pour décoller sur un bump à la rame ou partir le plus tôt possible avec une Wing.
Disponible dans 2 versions, Tuna et Tuna L tous les riders y trouveront leurs comptes ! La Tuna L étant la version plus courte et plus large (tout en conservant des largeurs de 21 » à 23 »), elle offre un compromis stabilité/glisse qui est excellent. La stabilité étant superieur à la version classique. Celle-ci est très bonne grâce à différents facteurs, mais notamment grâce à ses bevels verticaux et la répartition du volume qui est homogène et uniformément répartie sur la longueur de la planche. On retrouve également sur la Tuna L le pont creusé qui va augmenter encore ce sentiment de stabilité et le bulbe à l’avant qui permet cette répartition de volume. Elle sera cependant légèrement en retrait au niveau glisse par rapport à sa version classique, on la destinera plutôt à des profils en progression et qui cherche à garder du confort.
La Tuna L est équipée de boitiers US rallongés de 16 » (40cm) qui permettent une grande possibilité de réglages et d’avoir le foil bien centré par rapport à la longueur de la planche. Par conséquent, l’inertie induite par la longueur est nettement diminuée et on a l’impression d’avoir une planche plus courte. Tout les éléments de shape de la Tuna ont été étudiés pour offrir la meilleure glisse possible, mais également le meilleur rebond en cas de touchette sur ces planches étroites. La carène a ainsi été dessinée en V pour éviter l’effet rail qui est induit par l’outline très allongée de la planche.

The Tuna is the Downwind and Light Wind Wingfoil board in the range, designed to offer maximum glide for taking off on a bump with a paddle or getting up as early as possible with a Wing.
Available in 2 versions, Tuna and Tuna L, all riders will find what they’re looking for! The Tuna L is the shorter and wider version (while still maintaining widths of 21 » to 23 »), offering an excellent compromise between stability and glide. Stability is superior to the classic version. This is achieved thanks to various factors, but particularly due to its vertical bevels and the even distribution of volume along the length of the board. The Tuna L also features a scooped deck, further enhancing the feeling of stability, and a bulb at the front that facilitates this volume distribution. However, it will be slightly behind in terms of glide compared to its classic version, making it more suitable for progressing profiles seeking comfort.
The Tuna L is equipped with extended US boxes of 16 » (40cm), allowing for a wide range of adjustments and ensuring the foil is well-centered relative to the length of the board. Consequently, the inertia induced by the length is significantly reduced, giving the impression of a shorter board. All elements of the Tuna’s shape have been carefully designed to offer the best possible glide and the best rebound in case of contact with these narrow boards. The hull has been designed with a V-shape to avoid the rail effect caused by the board’s elongated outline.
